With the 1.9 updates for Luminar Neo, users have finally received their long-awaited Undo/Redo functionality. By easily backing out and applying edits again, this makes experimenting with different editing tools much simpler.
How Can You Use the New Function? Many will recognize this much-anticipated and long-awaited feature as Control + Z for Undo (Command + C on Macs) and Control + Y for Redo (Command + Y). This new function enables users to undo or redo changes made to images more freely while editing, providing greater control in their editing process. You can also click on Luminar Logo > Edit, select Change Image Sizes then Change File Location from there instead if keyboard shortcuts don’t suit.
Skylum also included performance enhancements with their RAW Develop and Masking tools for this update, promising a faster editing experience.
This update also resolves several bugs:
For MacOS: With the Layers tab open, navigate to “My Images,” “See All,” and the “Get More Assets” button as expected and be taken directly to Luminar Marketplace where a preset may be marked as Favorite without scrolling up and down through a list of presets.
Apply a Preset without disabling SkyAI and Sky Enhancer AI tools. And sync adjustments to a new image without seeing it low resolution displayed while adjustments sync up. And filter your Catalog, so you can resee an image you had superselected without it vanishes away.
Reopen the Before/After mode without changing its position on the Before/After slider. Without delays after opening this mode, view your original image without changes being applied immediately. For Windows: See any previously purchased Preset collections displayed directly within For This Photo window without having to click “Get”.
While using the Before/After splitter, click “Quick Preview” on an edited image that doesn’t blink. Re-login and see any previously purchased or X Membership Presets you may have purchased; scroll and change preview size without altering images in Catalog view.
It’s great having straightforward keyboard shortcuts that feel familiar – thanks, Luminar Neo!
Don’t forget that the Luminar Adventure deal is still open until May 1, so now is an excellent time to switch over to Luminar Neo!
